My day at Economy Hearth & Home Inc. starts bright and early at 6:30 AM. After checking the day’s schedule on my tablet, I load up the service van with essential tools and HVAC components we might need for the day’s appointments.
First Call of the Day
By 8:00 AM, I’m at our first client’s home for a seasonal heating system maintenance check. These preventive visits are crucial for keeping homes running efficiently through every season. I carefully inspect the furnace, clean vital components, and ensure all safety systems are functioning correctly.
Midday Emergency
Around noon, we receive an urgent call about a malfunctioning air conditioning unit. When temperatures are soaring, these situations require immediate attention. I quickly diagnose the issue – a failing capacitor – and have the system running smoothly within the hour.
Afternoon Education
One of the most rewarding parts of my job is helping homeowners understand their heating and cooling systems. Today, I spend time explaining to a client how to:
