Morning Prep: 6:00 AM
The winter morning starts early in the Columbia Basin as I prepare for another busy day serving our communities. With temperatures dropping below freezing, our heating systems expertise is in high demand across Moses Lake, Ephrata, and Othello.
First Call: 7:30 AM
My first stop is a commercial building in Moses Lake where the furnace needs immediate attention. Winter storms make our response time crucial, especially for businesses depending on reliable heating. I perform a thorough inspection, clean the system, and ensure all components are functioning optimally.
Mid-Morning: 10:00 AM
Heading to Ephrata for a scheduled furnace replacement. These jobs require precision and expertise – there’s no room for error when installing new heating systems. While working, I take time to explain the maintenance requirements to the property owner, ensuring they understand how to maximize their system’s efficiency.
Afternoon Calls
The afternoon brings several service calls across our service area:
– Emergency furnace repair for an elderly resident
– Routine maintenance check at a local restaurant
– HVAC system evaluation for a retail store
End of Day: 5:00 PM
Before heading back to base, I ensure all paperwork is complete and my service van is restocked for tomorrow. Working in HVAC services means being prepared for anything, whether it’s a simple maintenance call or a complex commercial system installation.
One of the most rewarding aspects of this job is knowing we help keep our communities warm and comfortable during the harsh Eastern Washington winters. Every day brings new challenges and opportunities to serve our neighbors throughout the Columbia Basin region.
Remember: Regular maintenance is key to preventing emergency repairs and ensuring your heating system runs efficiently all season long.
